Inquisitor Lord Draco

Name; Inquisitor Draco Flintloque
Rank; Inquisitor Lord of the Ordo Xenos. Xeno Advisor of the "Tears" Crusade 914.M41 to 999.M41

Draco Flintloque was a lucky man. He was born on the hive world of Necromunda in 854.M41 a son to a high ranking planetary adept of the Adeptus Cybernetica. Draco was soon singled out by his tutors for punishment due to his constant questioning of technology and how it was best employed and his constant fascination with alien cultures. In his 15th year however he began to suffer the effects of night terrors. These continued until he was examined by a member of the Adeptus Astromica and the young Draco soon learnt he had been "cursed" with a mind open to the psychic wavelengths employed by genestealers and their Tyranid counterparts. He was soon bundled abroad a Black Ship which was headed back to Earth.

On the journey toward Terra the young Draco was tested and registered a degree of resistance to the baleful influence of other psykers and was soon put on a list for further testing and reassignment to the Inquisition. He came to the attention of the Ordo Xenos quickly due to his unique Psychic abilities and began his tutelage under Inquistor Juren who specialized in Psyhic Xenos biology and technology.

It was not long before the young Draco had proven himself a valuable resource, his visions and night terrors leading Juren to the world of  Odessa and a genestealer cult that had infiltrated the planetary government. Due to his vivid memory recall of his visions Draco was able to pinpoint the exact location of the main stealer den beneath the city hive spire and allowed the Ordo Xenos Kill Teams to reach them quickly and destroy them with less than a 80% casualty rate.

Over the ensuring decades, Draco learnt to master his powers of premonition and soon took to using the Emperor's Tarot to locate Xenos incursions deep inside Segmentum Solar and within 5 decades he had risen to the rank of Inquistior Ordinay or the Ordo Xenos. It was then that fate played an eventful hand in the Inquisitors future.

The Howling Griffons Chapter along with the Silver Skulls and Salamanders Chapter took part in a campaign against the Dark Eldar sometime in late M41. Draco had been present with elements of the Howling Griffons 4th Company on a search and destroy mission when a recall order came through to the Company Captain to prepare for an assault inside the Dark Eldar Webway. Draco jumped at the chance to witness such an event and participate and he and his retinue soon found themselves with the rest of the Invasion fleet suspended above the Dark Eldar City. Taking advantage of the situation, Draco descended with his retinue to the surface and took part in several vicious street fights using his abilities to warn the Griffons of approaching Helions and ambushes. In one fateful ambush, Draco warned a unknowing Terminator Squad of a group of Dark Eldar Incubi that had taken up sniper positions in a nearby building. Throwing caution to the wind, the Inquistor and his meager retinue charged into the building and using flamers set about dislodging the incubi at close quarters. His retinue falling about him as he swung his force weapon in wide arcs, it was only the arrival of the Terminator squad which had seen his assault that saved his life. The squad soon had the situation under control but a lone Dark Eldar flitted from the shadows and attempted to attach a grenade of some vile disposition to one of the Terminators. Without thinking Draco leaped forward and disengaged the grenade which then detonated against his body.

Scribe Felix of the Adpetus Minostorium and Preacher "Kaleb". Two of the henchman of Lord Inq Draco.

When Draco awoke some 4 months later in the Apothecarium of the Howling Griffons looming above him was Chapter Master himself. Draco had indeed saved the lives of the marines and through his sacrifice had saved the life of the Captain of the 1st Company. It had cost him is leg and most of his torso which had to be re knitted from vat grown organs and mechanical replacements and his skin had suffered serious Necrosis due to loss of Oxygen giving it a stank deathly hue but he had survived. In honor of his sacrifice, the Inquisitor was awarded a suit of terminator body armor that the Griffons had managed to recover from their vaults. The suit was a relic of a bygone age when Terran marines who had served with the Emperor were not always augmented to the beings that now are Space Marines. The suit was heavily modified to become a living shell for Draco and he has not left its confines since  first donning it. Draco in honor of the Howling Griffons has modified his own personal heraldry to match the Howling Griffons Chapter colors that now adorn the armor and his honorary "Crux Terminatus" displays the Inquisitorial symbol to show his rank of Lord Inquisitor.

Draco is armed with an ancient combi bolter called "Swathe". The weapon was discovered in an Adeptus Mechanicus vault late in M37 and gifted to the Ordo Xenos due to its ability to fire bolter shells and be used to deliver lethal Xeno Toxins. On his powerfist Draco has attached several digital weapons which he has managed to procure from the black market and at his waist hangs "Electasia" his force weapon. On his chest is displayed a green "Laurel Triumphus" awarded by the Howling Griffons in acknowledgement of his sacrifice and his Inquisitorial seal. His right shoulder pad displays his own heraldry of the black skull with a simple script stating "Xeno" showing his membership of the Ordo Xenos.

In 914.M41 at the request of the Ordo Xenos Councilarium Primus the governing body of the Ordo Xenos and due to his association with the loyalist chapter of the Howling Griffons, Draco was assigned to take part in the Tears Crusade of Penance to be undertaken by the Lamenters Chapter who had recently been absolved of guilt in the Badab War. Under the watchful eye of a known loyal Inquisitor and the Scythes of the Emperor, the Lamenters were about to undertake their great crusade to cleanse themselves of sin. Draco relished the chance to investigate unknown regions of space and soon gained the grudging respect of the Lamenters to which he was assigned. The terminator clad Inquisitor often leads from the front cutting down Xenos as he advances and his use of the Imperial Tarot has led the Lamenters to investigate and save several worlds from Xeno incursion. Draco suspects his own apprentice Lukaz is actually an Inquisitorial agent of the Ordo Hereticus placed there to ensure that the Lamenters remain loyal to the Imperium at large. So far not one action the Lamenters have undertaken has been questioned by Draco, but he grows more and more concerned over the reports from his retinue of black clad marines wearing Lamenters colors that are at the forefront of any assault forces. At first Draco thought another Deathwatch team could be operating within the Crusade... now he is unsure. His questions regarding this to the Lamenters Chapter Chaplain assigned to liaison with him have so far gone unanswered. The Chaplain stating plainly that the Lamenters brethren who have honored themselves and seen the light of the Emperor partake in assaults from which their is little chance of survival and it is part of their own Space Marine Cult rituals that they paint their armor black before such martyrs are allowed to take the field. Draco is wary however, the Tarot predicts doom and destruction at a place called Malvolion and he is unsure of the truth in the Chaplain's words.

His own Deathwatch squad has suffered casualties over the years, all being replaced now by Lamenter Marines who see it as way to help rebuild the honor of their Chapter.
